Case Study 14 Title: Engine pump faulty due to bad user practice Findings: 1. Pump was dismantled by customer and found parts have been worn out while product is still under warranty. 2. Upon verification, pump appeared to be over sped and caused the engine parts to damage. 3. User has adjusted speed from its original position. Solutions: 1. Client is advised not to adjust the speed and follow the allowable performance to avoid engine faulty. 2. They are also advised not to dismantle pumps to prevent further damage.
