Can we perform  “Noise Level” test for submersible pumps?

NO. we cannot perform  “Noise Level” and “Hydrostatic” test (including Gland Packing Pump)

Reason:

The noise level reading will not be accurate when pump is submerged into the water.

A hydrostatic test is a way in which pressure vessels such as pipelines, plumbing, gas cylinders, boilers and fuel tanks can be tested for strength and leaks.
